Workshop Highlights

Curated art experiences led by Indigenous artists and, where requested, guided by Elders: Sessions are taught by professional Indigenous creatives who combine artistic techniques with cultural knowledge. For a deeper experience, we can include Elder‑led storytelling and locally sourced Indigenous‑made catering, in partnership with our community collaborators.

Indigenous Art Experience Workshops

These workshops introduce teams to painting fundamentals, led by professional Indigenous artists who blend creative technique with cultural teachings and Indigenous‑sourced art materials. Sessions can be enriched with Elder-led storytelling and locally sourced Indigenous-made catering. Ideal for corporate team building, offsite retreats, DEI programming, and Truth & Reconciliation learning days.
Spray Paint Mural Workshops

Transform blank walls into vibrant community artwork using professional aerosol techniques! Participants engage in the full process: concept development, design, surface prep, collaborative painting, and finishing touches. Great for schools, businesses, community organizations, and public art projects.
Spray Paint Basics Workshops

In spray paint basics, we share a mural artist’s primary tool: the aerosol spray can. Learn how to use the spray can to its fullness, and nozzles to gain greater control of your spray. In this workshop, you will receive an introduction to aerosol painting, preparation, stencils and masking.
Watercolour Painting Workshops

Discover foundational painting skills with guidance from Indigenous artists. Learn colour theory, brush techniques, and experimental approaches while producing your own unique masterpiece. Available for youth, adults, and mixed groups.
Acrylic Painting Workshops

These workshops offer an introduction to the foundations of acrylic painting. Technique, colour theory and brush types will be explored. Participants will create their own masterpiece using their new acrylic painting knowledge learned throughout this workshop.
Bleached Art Apparel

Create wearable art using innovative bleach techniques on fabric—perfect for ages 14 and up. Personalize t-shirts, shoes, backpacks, or accessories, and bring your vision to life with support from our facilitators.
Community & Custom Mural Projects

Work closely with Miska’s team and Indigenous Elders to create large-scale art that celebrates your community’s stories, values, and connection to nature, animals, and the land. We facilitate culturally sensitive projects for offices, schools, public spaces, recreation centers, and residential buildings—helping to foster collective pride and meaningful connections.
Paint Nights & Group Art Experiences
